1. About Us
Sweet Mountain Bakery is an online bakery based in Kenya, specialising in French macarons, NYC cookies and brownie slabs. We are operated by Alexandra and the Sweet Mountain Bakery team.

2. 🛒 Orders
- All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or suspected fraudulent activity.
- Once an order has been placed and payment confirmed, it will be processed for dispatch on the next available working day.
- Orders cannot be amended or cancelled after the 2pm cutoff time on the day of ordering.
3. 💳 Payment
- We accept M-Pesa payments to our till number and online card payments at checkout.
- Payment must be completed in full before an order is dispatched.
- All prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.
- Sweet Mountain Bakery reserves the right to update pricing at any time without prior notice.
4. 🚚 Delivery
- We dispatch orders Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays.
- Orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched the next working day.
- Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on order weight and location.
- Nationwide deliveries are fulfilled via Wells Fargo courier and include a tracking code.
- Sweet Mountain Bakery is not responsible for delays caused by the courier, adverse weather conditions or circumstances outside of our control.
- Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct at the time of ordering. We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect information.

5. 🔄 Refunds & Returns
- Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns.
- If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at info@sweetmountainbakery.com with photographic evidence.
- We will do our best to offer a suitable resolution, which may include a replacement order or store credit at our discretion.
- Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances and are assessed on a case by case basis.
6. 🌿 Allergens & Dietary Information
- All Sweet Mountain Bakery products are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, eggs and gluten.
- Allergen information is listed on each individual product page.
- It is the customer's responsibility to review allergen information before placing an order.
- Sweet Mountain Bakery cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions resulting from failure to review allergen information provided.
7. 🎂 Custom & Corporate Orders
- Custom cake, cupcake and corporate orders are accepted subject to availability and minimum order quantities.
- Custom orders require full payment or a deposit at the time of booking.
- Cancellations of custom orders must be made at least 72 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund or credit.

These terms of service are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or the purchase of our products will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
